Alpine EcoSciences provides land stewardship and environmental consulting services, and evaluates environmental impacts from development activities and chemical exposure. Our projects have included ecological risk assessments, forest management plans for Forest Ag, habitat assessments, bioaccumulation studies, sediment and water quality investigations, and wildfire mitigation plans, among others.

Linda Ziccardi

Ms. Linda Ziccardi is the owner of Alpine EcoSciences, a self-certified economically-disadvantaged woman-owned small business. She is an ecologist and natural resource manager with over 30 years of experience as an environmental consultant for landowners, industry, and government.

Ms. Ziccardi is an ACF (Association of Consulting Foresters) Consulting Forester who is required to adhere to strict ACF ethical practices and meet annual continuing education requirements. ACF foresters are among the nations premier forestry professionals.

Ms. Ziccardi has participated in regulatory negotiations on the behalf of industry and conducted projects for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Departments of Energy and Defense (DoD, DoE). She served on the Biological Technical Assistance Groups in EPA Regions 2 and 3, and participated in the development of EPA’s ecological soil screening levels (Eco-SSLs) and the Framework for Metals Risk Assessment. She has presented papers at professional society meetings on the ecological effects of chemicals and other stressors, including metals, pesticides, PCBs, and PAHs; and emerging contaminants including organic chemicals sorbed to microplastics and nanomaterials.
